All legal matters and documents from the Norwegian government has to be accomplished outside working hours.
All our employees will have to go to an appointed tax office in Norway in order to complete mandatory ID-check. This is to prevent anyone working under false identity and should be done preferably within the first weeks in Norway. Note! If you fail to do this, you will be taxed 50% on your salary according to the law.
A service provider need to have a Norwegian stay permit – "Registreringsbevis" only when the assignment is longer than 3 months. This document will be issued only after a personal visit and an application to an appointed police station. UNICjob assists the employee in preparing for this document by providing most of the information needed on email as well as booking time at the police. The time and the cost for visiting the police station is to be covered by the employee. Since only specially appointed police stations are offering this service, the travel from the workplace to the appointed police station may be of some distance.
For all our employees it is an obligation to make a tuberculosis test in Norway at the local health authority. The tuberculosis control is free of charge and the travel costs to and from the health authority can be covered by the local authorities after filing an application.
UNICjob will instruct the employee by e-mail in case of these different actions.
