Most companies in Norway have their own salary terms and conditions. Therefore there can be significant differences in terms for the same job and there is no common minimum salary level in Norway. However, in certain sector there are lawfully decided on applying general collective agreements concerning pay and working conditions and UNICjob is following these regulations.
According to the tax agreement between Norway and Estonia or other Baltic and Scandinavian countries, as well as with Poland, Bulgaria, Romania and Spain - all service providers in Norway on behalf of UNICjob are taxable to Norway.
The income tax for our employees is usually approximate 19-28% on paid salary. The percentage of income tax is not fixed in Norway, so it is gradual and increases by higher payments on a monthly basis.
When hired by a foreign company like UNICjob our employees pay on average 3-4% less income tax to Norway compared to working for the Norwegian company directly.
